Potting Shed Sale

I've been so busy here at the inn. This year has an energy that I haven't felt in a few years.
The Jersey shore is booming. Restaurants are busy, new shops are going in all the time and it seems people are out and about. Let's all pray it lasts.
I had my Potting Shed sale last week, and for the first time having it, I believe it was a success.
Here's some pics for you.....

Jane's Flora Doora's were a big seller!

  3. So glad to hear the sale was a success. I guess those reality shows are really kinda helping the Jersey Shore, as silly as they are -- folks are actually going there to see the stars which means more visitors and thus the business boom. A friend in Illinois just posted about her trip to New York City and the Jersey Shore -- her teenager daughters were thrilled to see the Jersey Shore stars. I don't get it, but if it helps the economy, so be it. Have a fabulous day. Tammy

    1. Hi Tammy....the Jersey shore where I am is nothing like what you see portrayed on TV. This area is quiet, tree lined streets and a beautiful old fashioned main street. It's topped off by a beautiful family oriented beach. Mary Higgins Clark lives two towns over as well as many other non-Snookie people. Unfortunately this show has given yet another bad image of the beautiful state of New Jersey and it really gets my back up when we are lumped in with those people. Don't mean to sound like a snob, but I can't even believe that people actually find that show entertaining.
Our area is booming because we have pristine beaches, great restaurants and wonderful shopping.
      Sorry, just had to vent.

    2. Well said, Gail! As a former Jersey shore girl...I agree with you. The tv show is overly dramatized and nothing like much of New Jersey or the shore. Thank goodness! :0)

  6. Gail, so glad your sale was a success. I am not surprised the Flora Dooras sold so well. As the proud owner of several, I know the buyers will adore them. You displayed them beautifully.
